Martha Evans Richard Phillips was born ca. 1813 at Egremont, Pembroke, and married David Phillip, a laborer, in 1833 in the Parish of Lampeter Velfrey. They had nine children. Martha died in 1874, aged 61, and David died in 1862, aged 54.
